Do imitators work?
An independent laboratory tested the Dr. Rechell anti-mosquito bracelet against a similar-looking product mass produced in China and sold in the US. The test included a third bracelet that had no active ingredient at all, to serve as a “control.”
Here’s what they found ...
In the conditions of this trial, with the samples tested, insect strains and methodology used, the anti mosquito bracelet of Dr. Rechell has proved a more relevant repellent effect towards Aedes aegypti female mosquitoes than the [Brand X] and the control. Indeed, despite the fact that [Brand X] is mentioned to be [a top-selling mosquito wristband in the USA], in our experiment it was not efficient at all: its repulsive effect being significantly identical to the control.
In other words, the Dr. Rechell sample worked. The imitation did not.
